"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." - Isaiah 1:18

What is the Church of Christ?

The Church of Christ takes its name from its founder: Jesus, the Christ, the son of God. Followers, or disciples of Christ are called "Christians" - this is a label that God himself ordained (Acts 11:26).

To follow Christ, one must learn His teachings, and know His will. Christians view the book known as the Bible as God's literal, inspired word, and the ultimate source of authority for our spiritual practices, and a guide to our lives. It provides answers to the questions every human being asks themselves:

  • "Where did I come from?"

  • "Why am I here?"

  • "What happens to me when I die?"

The theme of the Bible is the salvation of man. God specifically states that He "wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." (I Tim. 2:4)

The members of the Church of Christ who meet in Azalea Park, Florida are interested in salvation, and the hope of eternal life! Each of us wants to secure our own salvation, and also to help others to be saved, and come to a knowledge of God's truth. With that goal in mind, we cordially invite you to explore the Bible with us, and hope you are open to the possibility that it is indeed God's revealed will to mankind, and that it has the power to save you.
